After graduating from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Economics and The Classics,
Steve began his financial service career at American Portfolios as an intern while in college, joining American Portfolios in 2008. Steven became a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) in 2012. Steven specializes in the retirement plan area. He completed The 401k Coach® program, recognized for establishing a six-step consulting model. He is an considered an expert in the fiduciary aspects of all retirement plans as well as explaining the complicated workings of the 401k marketplace in an easy to understand compelling way.

Steve’s lives with his wife in NYC and has a shared practice with his Mother Patricia McNeilly, who is also a highly regarded advisor.
